Raspberry Ripe Smoothie Bowl

There's no denying it...smoothie bowls are delicious! And when done right they are super nutritious too. This Raspberry Ripe Smoothie Bowl by Jaz from J.Nourish ticks all the boxes. The combination of Raspberries & raw cacao is high in magnesium, vitamin c, copper & iron. These minerals are vital in imperative roles such as repairing healthy skin & blood tissue cells, improving your mood & giving you an immune system a boost- all while tasting like a raspberry ripe chocolate bar! Give it a go.


 
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • cup light coconut milk
  • 1-2 Tbs Raw Cacao powder
  • 1tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tbls Shredded Coconut

Chocolate Sauce:
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tbls Raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbls Coconut oil (melted)
  • 2 tbls of rice malt syrup or raw agave nectar
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract or paste
METHOD

Heat coconut oil in a heat-proof bowl.
Combine all other ingredients into bowl, stir well until smooth & combined. Now you have chocolate sauce!
 
Optional garnishes: Shredded Coconut, Shaved dark chocolate, chia seeds & my homemade chocolate sauce!
 
Puree the raspberries, banana, coconut milk & chia seeds in a blender until smooth. The mixture will be very thick and you will need to push the ingredients down to get the blender going. If needed, add a little more coconut milk to get the blender going. Garnish with shredded coconut, shaved dark chocolate, hazelnuts, chia seeds, and edible flowers.
