Healthy entertaining made easy

I don't normally do product promoting, but credit is given when credit is due. I first came across Kehoe's Kitchen products not long after Orlando was born, walking around the Northey St Organic Farmer's Markets in Brisbane. I was addicted to their tiny jars of coconut yoghurt at the time because they are made from real coconuts rather than canned coconut milk. For some strange reason, I can't digest coconut milk yoghurt very well, and this stuff just made my tummy sing.

As the years went by their range grew and grew. They now have award winning ferments under their belt as well as tasty dips, salsas and chutneys! I may be currently enjoying the Creamy Beetroot with a bit of celery.

Commercially produced dips, chutneys and salsas are normally not organic, loaded with too much sugar, refined salt, preservatives, thickeners and stabilisers, making them incredibly addictive to eat. Since cutting out or cutting back on all of the above, I've become very sensitive to foods that contain them making dips a no go zone at parties because my GI tract would instantly bloat up like a balloon.

These guys are different. I can comfortably enjoy their beautiful products without experiencing the painful bloat, making them 100% worth the extra spend. I find paying that little bit extra makes me more conscious of how much I eat, reducing the risk of overeating.

I love the Kehoe’s Kitchen range because

  1. They're Brisbane locals and they're very friendly,
  2. Everything they make tastes out of this world amazing
  3. They pride themselves on making Organic food for families on GAPS, Paleo, PrimalWeston A Price, Whole food, allergy free or Raw diets.
  4. All their creations are 100% grain, sugar, preservative, additive and soy free.
  5. They are conscious about their packaging choices, opting for recyclable glass jars, rather than landfill producing, toxic plastics.
  6. You can still find them at the Northey St Market in Windsor every Sunday.
If you are unable to make it to the market or don’t live close by you can now purchase their range from a number of retailers in QLD & NSW check out their current stockists.

Do your body and taste buds a flavourful favour and try this stuff for yourself.

In an often isolating world, sharing our experiences as mothers on instagram has helped so many mums connect with other like minded souls going through the same highs and lows. I have loved watching fellow Brisbane super mum of five (yea mama!), Abbey Braithwaite, share her motherhood journey with the world. Her pictures are peppered with tiny fingers grabbing tasty morsels that she prepares and magical adventures with her little people. There is, of course, much more to this beautiful woman than you can share on instagram.
