Warm french toast drizzled with maple syrup...just perfect. This vegan take on an old staple by Jade from @nourish.by.her is made with everyday ingredients and will most definitely be on repeat in your household. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, it is the perfect treat any time of the day.
Time: 10 Mins | Serves: 4
8-10 peices of bread (older bread works better)
1 large ripe banana
3/4 cup almond milk
1 tsp pure vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
Blend all ingredients excluding the bread in a processor. Pour into a shallow dish but deep enough to dip bread into. Grease and heat up a frying pan on medium heat. Dip one slice of bread into the mixture, flip and dip the other side until completely coated. Fry each side until golden. Repeat with each slice. Sprinkle on your favourite toppings and enjoy!
